A short description of the Range Rover Supercharged

This Range Rover has already managed to open its trophy cabinet to receive the world's first all-aluminum all-terrain vehicle. The whole technical side of this vehicle is a development of the settings of the previous model, but its appearance and interior are as new as possible.

The new model carries a huge burden of responsibility on its aluminum fenders; the previous generation registered significant sales volumes until the last day of presence in car dealerships. No one cared that a completely new model was being prepared for release – the buyers were coming one after another.

Read the history of the Range Rover a little more carefully, and you'll notice that when it comes to status, you're unlikely to find a brand faster than this one. Range Rover doesn't just rank among the famous names in the automotive world – it has achieved this status half as fast as all the others.

For example, the Bentley Continental GT family tree goes back to the 1920s, to Le Mans laurels, while the Range Rover appeared in the 1970s, created by a company that looked for inspiration in cars like Jeep Willis. These days, a Range Rover can compete with any exotic "supercar" that costs 10 times more.

Since the goal of the new Range Rover is to surpass in all respects the model it replaces, we decided to evaluate it with its full potential – we chose the version equipped with a Supercharged engine.

Under its hood is a turbocharged five–liter V8 engine, an exceptionally popular choice in the Middle East, so we decided to test the car in one of its favorite markets. For us, this meant that we had to put its advanced electronics into practice – to test it while driving through the dunes, a type of terrain that the Range Rover has been familiar with for a long time.

In the city

The biggest problem when driving the old model in urban environments was the fact that the large number of quick shifts and movements required by this type of traffic were not very convenient. Now the Range Rover feels much more mobile, it is no longer intimidated by the chaotic and harsh nature of urban driving.

Before you start thinking about conquering the city center in your brand–new Range Rover, it's worth noting that parking this car is still a time-consuming job. The developers from Land Rover, of course, added an automated parallel parking system. But the automotive industry has not yet reached the level that allows it to make developments of the type that would be absolutely suitable for use in the real world – when the situation becomes more complicated, this auxiliary device does not change anything for the better. transescort.org/trans/india/chennai/
